What happened after Ebenezer Scrooge promised to keep Christmas all year?

The Funeral of Ebenezer Scrooge: Experiencing Change and Finding Meaning at Christmas combines an original novella imagining Scrooge’s funeral with a 31-day Christian devotional for December. As those who knew him gather to remember his life, their stories reveal the lasting influence of his transformation.

Drawing on Charles Dickens’ beloved A Christmas Carol and the hope of Scripture, David M. Anderson, Jr. invites you to consider how change takes root in your own life. Through daily reflections, you’ll explore the possibilities of forgiveness and generosity, and consider the legacy your everyday choices are creating.

Read it throughout December, share it with someone who loves A Christmas Carol, or give it as a thoughtful Christmas gift. Scrooge’s story invites you to embrace the time you have and the good you can still do.
